K12 Online Conference Has Begun
October 29, 2006 by jzcolby
The K-12 Online Conference started this past week and I was able to pop in and check out some of the workshops. The great feature about this conference is that if there are several good workshops offered, you don’t have to choose which one to go to. You can go to all of them whenever you want. I have made a “to do” list of this week’s sessions that I want to view. Two workshops that I found beneficial were “Wiki While You Work” by Mark Wagner. If you need to know what wikis are all about and how to set one up, check out the creativity in this workshop. Another great workshop is “Getting to Know Flickr” by Jeff Utecht from Shanghai. I have a Flickr account but never took the time to explore so this was a big help. You have to check this conference out — just go to www.k12onlineconference.org and check out all the fantastic workhsops offered. What a great idea! Thanks to all who helped put this together.
