Beth has tagged me…

I have been tagged by my colleague, Beth Knittle. Had to think about this for quite a bit (sorry I took so long Beth). Decided to come up with times I look back on and cherish or get a laugh from.
I used to work for the Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and Drug Control. It truly was an interesting job and one I will never forget.
Went to Catholic school for Grades 1-8. In 4th grade. Caught talking one day so Sister Stephanie made me kneel in front of the nativity scene and I was not allowed to take my eyes off the crèche. Well, I listened so well and was so intent on not moving at all that I passed out flat on the floor in front of the crèche.
I dressed up as Barney the dinosaur for my daughter’s 3rd birthday. Did a 30 minute song and dance at her party. It went well other than losing my dino “shoe.”
I was head majorette in high school – Catasauqua High School in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. This was a lot of fun and cherish the memories.
When I worked for Day-Timers, Inc., I was senior tech support. One day there was a problem with our terminal server (piece of equipment used to connect “dumb” terminals to the mainframe). Ran diagnostics with the equipment, checked what I thought was everything. Finally, went to my coworker and asked if he could take a look. Well, turns out it wasn’t plugged into the mainframe. He never told anyone but we had a good laugh and I did take a lot of abuse for that one. However, now when a teacher has a problem and it turns out it wasn’t plugged in, I just laugh, tell them everyone does it – including me, and think back on that day at Day-Timers.
As far as tagging five others, I will pass on that since I don’t know that many bloggers and those I know have already been tagged.

Well Julia that explains a lot! Thanks for playing along. I am sure that one experience at Day-Timers has helped shape you into the patient IT specialist.
