Miss You Mom!

I miss blogging but will get back soon. But before I start blogging again, it won’t feel right unless I blog an entry for my Mom who passed away on January 28.

Your Mother Is Always With You
Your mother is always with you…
She’s the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street.
She’s the smell of bleach in your freshly laundered socks.
She’s the cool hand on your brow when you’re not well.
Your mother lives inside your laughter. She’s crystallized in every tear drop…
She’s the place you came from, your first home..
She’s the map you follow with every step that you take. She’s your first love and your first heart
break….and nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, Not space…
Not even death….
will ever separate you from your mother…. You carry her inside of you…. -

Julia,
I began work on my blog this a.m., and went to your blog to see if I want to do postings or new pages – not sure of how you delineate different topics (research work, building class community, etc.)
As I read through your blog, and was completely moved when I came to the poem you shared in dedication to your mom. Thank you so much for sharing this most special verse.

MJ,
Thanks. As usual, I searched the Internet for poems I really liked and found this one with the author as unknown. It is a very special poem and I read it every now and then.
