Tue, 19 May 2009 12:53:37 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.8.2 en hourly 1 http://jzcolby.edublogs.org/2007/06/13/it-has-been-a-busy-few-months/ http://jzcolby.edublogs.org/2007/06/13/it-has-been-a-busy-few-months/#comments Wed, 13 Jun 2007 23:53:06 +0000 jzcolby http://jzcolby.edublogs.org/2007/06/13/it-has-been-a-busy-few-months/ Why haven’t I blogged in a month?  So many things going on.  It has been a busy few months.  Held a wiki workshop at my school.  Have several teacher wikis going on now at my school.  Held a blogging workshop also.  Enrolled myself in a course on Differentiation with Technology.  Learned a lot from other teachers about differentiation and also some great ideas on technology projects.   Teachers at my school have continued to integrate technology more and more.  My job continues to grow and it is no more about how to insert a table into a document or how to create a basic PowerPoint.  Now it is about students creating their own Movie Maker projects, students using the microphone to incorporate audio into their PowerPoint projects, teachers using the SMARTBoards, students using the digital microscope and using the photos in a presentation, teachers making movies in iMovie.  It is time to look at my professional development I offer to the teachers and it is time to update the old with new and innovative training.  Summer is a time to wind down, learn new things for myself, and come up with some great ideas for next year.
